Welcome to Highland Outdoor Adventures offering a range of climbing, walking and paddling options for individuals, groups and the whole family – including outings and courses for all levels (beginners through to experts). All of our courses can be run from Aviemore & the Cairngorms as well as many other locations across Scotland.

At Highland Outdoor Adventures, we can tailor courses, training and outings to be as easy or challenging as you want.  And whatever you choose to do, you can rest assured that we are fully insured and all equipment is included.

Our base is in Newtonmore in the Cairngorms (near to Inverness, Aviemore, Fort William, and the Rivers Tay, Spey, Findhorn and Garry);  from here, we offer activities throughout Scotland and are familiar with most of the major Scottish lochs, rivers, mountains and upland areas.

All of Highland Outdoor Adventures’ expert instructors are qualified to work at the highest level, and we are members of the Scottish Canoe Association, British Canoeing, Mountaineering Scotland, the British Mountaineering Council and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.

We are proud to have teamed up with the world’s best white-water SUP  manufacturer – Hala – so that we can supply you with premium equipment for your sessions. Highland Outdoor Adventures are the first and only company in the UK to be teamed up with Hala – and our director is  their first European international ambassador.
